Our Process

Our Process

From Yarn to Your Doorstep. A Process With No Gaps.

Every order that SVL fulfils follows the same structured production process. Here is exactly how it works, from the moment you place an enquiry to the day your goods are dispatched.

How We Work

Starting a Relationship With SVL

New buyers often want to know what the process looks like before they commit to an enquiry. Here is the straightforward version.

You share a brief. We develop samples. You approve. We produce. We inspect. We ship. Every step is managed in-house by our team and communicated to you throughout.

Managed In-House

Every step handled by our own team, on our own floor.

Communicated Throughout

You know exactly where your order stands, at every stage.

100% (In-House)

Produced in-house from yarn selection to finished garment.

Step by Step

The SVL Production Process

Every order that SVL fulfils follows the same structured production process. Here is exactly how it works, from the moment you place an enquiry to the day your goods are dispatched.

01

Enquiry and Brief

Share your requirement via our enquiry form or enquiry@sangamventure.com: product category, fabric preference, estimated quantity, target delivery date and any technical or compliance requirements. We acknowledge within one business day.

02

Technical Review and Costing

Our production and costing team reviews your brief, assesses fabric and construction options and prepares a quote. We ask clarifying questions if needed. We do not quote blindly. We quote accurately.

03

Sample Development30 Days

Our design and R&D team develops samples from your technical pack, a reference sample or a general brief. Samples are shared for your approval before production begins.

04

Sample Approval

You review the samples and provide feedback. We revise if required and submit for re-approval. Once samples are approved, we move to production planning.

05

Order Confirmation and Planning

We confirm the order, production timeline, delivery schedule and payment terms. Your order is scheduled into our production calendar.

06

Yarn Sourcing and Preparation60 Days

Yarn is sourced from our supply base across Italy, Israel, China, Sri Lanka and India, to the confirmed specifications. Incoming yarn is inspected before entering production.

07

Seamless Knitting60 Days

Your garments are programmed and knitted on our 114 Santoni seamless circular knitting machines. In-line quality checks are carried out during this stage.

08

Fabric Inspection

Knitted garments are inspected before moving to dyeing. Defective pieces are flagged and removed from the production batch.

09

FLAINOX Dyeing and Finishing

Garments are dyed to your confirmed colour standard in our in-house FLAINOX tube dyeing facility, then steamed, boarded and dimensionally checked.

10

Final Quality Inspection

A final AQL inspection is carried out before packing. This is the stage at which third-party inspectors are welcome if your sourcing policy requires it.

11

Packing

Garments are packed to your specifications in biodegradable materials. Labels, hangtags and packaging materials are applied at this stage.

12

Export Documentation and Dispatch

All export documentation is prepared in-house: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and any compliance certificates required. Goods are dispatched on the agreed shipping terms.

Lead Times

Timelines You Can Plan Around

We know that lead time predictability is as important as the lead time itself. Here are our standard timelines:

StageDuration
Sample / product development30 days
Raw material procurement60 days
Bulk production60 days
Lead times may vary by order volume and product complexity. Final timelines are confirmed at the order stage.
Open Door Policy

Third-Party Inspection Is Welcome

We have no objection to third-party inspection at any stage of production, including pre-shipment final inspection. If your buying policy requires it or your brand runs its own inspection programme, we will coordinate with your nominated inspection agency and provide the access and samples they need.

Please inform us at the order confirmation stage if inspection is required so we can factor it into the production schedule.
